CHARADRIIFORMES: Stercorariidae

Stercorarius pomarinus  

A common food of this bird is the lemming (as if the lemming didn't have enough problems).

However, the lemming supply in the southern oceans is somewhat limited so they forage by taking fish from the surface, preying on smaller birds and kleptoparasitism.
